My sniper rifle for the "Longrange anti infantry weapon" contest from the Weaponry guild
The scope is, indeed, not like other scopes (most are circular, this one is rectangular). Everything red in it is projected on it, and will disapear when its not switched on. the text in the box is:
Wind speed: 1.4 m/s
Wind direction: SE
Pressure: 1023 Mbar
Sound delay (time between the bullet hitting its target and the sound reaching the target) : 0.25 S
Bullet delay (time from the moment the bullet leaves the barrel and it striking its target) : 0.11 S
Earshot (aproximate chance of the enemy hearing your shot) 20.4%
Eyeshot (aproximate chance of the emeny seeing the muzzle flash when looking at it.) 73.8%
The 2 things near the red box are distance between you and the spot you're aiming at (range finder, it also has an SVD style range finder incase of a power blackout) and the current zoom level.
Its called a Stabilized sniper rifle because its got a gyroscopical stabilizer integrated in its design. Its located in fornt of the trigger and is switched on and off by pressing that button there.
Moving further forward theres a handguard. Nothing special here.
The thing in front of the hand guard is a front handle/bipod. Its a handle when not split in 2, and when you do split it, it becomes a bipod.
It should be effective at ranges of 1 Km to 1 Mile (0.625 Mile to 1.6Km).
Well, thats about it, i guess.
BTW ACTOWS means Advanced Computerized Telescopic Optical Weapon Sight.
